What is a Transit Account?

When you create an account for the SunRail system, a transit account is created. The transit account stores payment information and holds stored value that can be used to buy tickets or passes for travel on the SunRail transit system. A transit account is shared by both the Mobile Ticket App and all SunCard(s) associated to that account.
